Mecobalamin, the neurologically active form of vitamin B12, is a water-soluble vitamin in the body. It serves as a cofactor in methionine synthase, aiding in the transfer of methyl groups to regenerate methionine from homocysteine. In anemia, it enhances erythrocyte production by promoting nucleic acid synthesis in the bone marrow and facilitating the maturation and division of erythrocytes.

Others:
Mecobalamin, a coenzyme form of vitamin B12, replaces the cyano group in cyanocobalamin with a methyl group. It acts as a cofactor in methionine synthase, which is essential for transferring methyl groups to regenerate methionine from homocysteine. Mecobalamin is crucial for myelin integrity, neuronal function, red blood cell formation, and DNA synthesis. It aids in neuronal lipid synthesis, and axonal nerve regeneration, promotes axonal transport, and possesses neuroprotective properties.
Tablet:
Hypersensitivity to Mecobalamin or any formulation components.
